The organic Crocus sativus bulbs sold in our webshop are cultivated entirely in accordance with European organic farming regulations, without the use of chemical plant protection products or artificial fertilizers.

Both cultivation and the subsequent sorting and packaging process are supervised and controlled by Skal Biocontrole.

Skal Biocontrole is designated by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs as the official control authority responsible for inspection and certification of organic companies in the Netherlands.

Inspections and certifications are carried out in accordance with the applicable European regulations, including Regulations (EC) No. 834/2007, (EC) No. 889/2008 and (EC) No. 1235/2008.

We do not include a physical organic certificate with shipments, as this is not required under European regulations.

However, our organic certification is fully transparent and verifiable online.
